Bethany-Kris has written a story that is a joy to read and so sexy that you want to read it again. Her characters aren't just simple, one dimensional beings. She was able to make them relatable, more alive than fiction characters should be. The main character, Olivia, is strong and sassy, yet vulnerable and drenched in longing. She is, in essence, a reality for a lot of women.And oh look, the story has a fleshed out plot. Romance novels sometimes skimp on the plot and get right down to the smut. Bethany-Kris has given us something to love, a story that's more than boy-meets-girl. It's romantic, saucy, real, and makes me a little jealous my plane rides have yet to have a Sal.
I enjoyed how descriptive Bethany-Kris was without drowning me in words. The way she described Sal on Olivia's first encounter had me ready to hop a plane and discover the great views of Newfoundland myself! The sex was also written wonderfully. Olivia's "oh my god what am I doing, but who cares" approach and Sal's "hotness monster with a need to please" attitude was fire in the sky!
All in all, "A Mile High" is a great read. This short story left me begging for more. However, I'm not so sure I'd be able to handle more Sal. Lordy!

Bethany-Kris has written an engaging, hot as hell story here! She’s done something that’s hard to do… impress me with a short story. Her characters were fleshed out, there was great plot and dialogue was believable. Five stars, all the way.
It was a good book but very short.. You really didn't get to meet the characters in the book they were introduced then on the plane and had sex and the book was done. got right to the point.. I love when the book gets into detail and you get to know the characters more and the excitement they put a the book.. This book was not for me..
A Mile High earns 5 stars from me. I loved it. This sexy romance packs quite a punch. Bethany Kris weaves a tale of forbidden pleasure sure to fuel your own wicked fantasies. I highly recommend this book.
All I have to say is my travel trips never turn out that hot and interesting. Can I have some more of Sal please?
Quite enjoyed this story of two strangers meeting on a plane.
